Sun 29th Nat Junior Promotion Match in Barnet Cophthall.
A wet and windy Copthall Stadium hosted the promotional National Junior League match this weekend. The Basildon Beagles achieved their mission by securing second place just four points shy of the winners to earn themselves a place in the premier division next season. The men finished second and the women won their individual match.
It was literally a case of see a gap and fill it to earn vital points towards the overall goal. Many athletes competed in events for the first time or simply filled as many vacant events as possible.
