The Basildon Beagles travelled to their final National Junior fixture at Cambridge with much anticipation in the air of qualifying for the promotional match to be held in August.
Not only did the team successfully accomplish their mission, they also romped to victory in the match sealing top spot in the final league standings.
Despite Cambridge keeping to its reputation of being a windy venue, there were several personal bests achieved as well as a club record by Tariq Martin in the A string discus (45.48m).
