Bedford once again hosted this weekends AAA Under 15 and Under 17 Championships where Basildon A.C were represented by several of its up and coming athletes.
Matthew Scott secured silver in the under 15 boys 80m hurdles (11.42). Another silver was added by Mitchell Etheridge in the under 17 men's pole vault with an equal PB (4.30m).
Kaylee Dodd was unlucky in the under 15 girls 800m where she finished just outside the medals in fourth (2.15.28).
Another finalist was Stephen Strange who finished sixth in the under 17 men's 800m (2.03.99, 1.58.48 in heat).
Elsewhere, under 17 sprinter Jess Quick, unfortunately did not qualify through her heat in either the 100m (12.83) or 300m (42.82). Another sprinter to miss out was under 17 Ryan O'Sullivan in the 100m (11.5).
