Please could all members of the Southern Womens team be at the track by 6.50pm on Wed 9th Sept. as there is a photographer from the Echo on site to take your picture ,please ensure you bring your team vest ,report from the meeting ,thanks to Heidi for thisBasildon A.C's Southern Women's team have resembled the phoenix from the ashes this season after facing relegation from the premier league this time last year.
 
The team travelled to Colchester for their final league match of the season and despite many absentees, the team once again pulled together to win the match and secure third overall in the league.
 
Special thanks and well done goes to all the athletes (including those who had retired from athletics), officials and helpers who have all been an integral part of this years team.
