Radley Ladies hosted the latest instalment of the Southern Women's League where Basildon A.C held a slender one and a half points advantage over the hosts in the league standings.
The holiday season and traffic jams had a big impact on Basildon's team, despite this the team finished second behind Radley giving away only ten points meaning that they go into the last fixture with plenty to fight for to regain their fourth spot in the league standings.
The senior women only had three distance runners to cover the longer races. Charlotte Bishop was clocking up the mileage by competing in the 400m hurdles, 800m and 3000m. As were Charmaine Wheeler (1500m and 3000m) and Anna Whitfield (800m, 1500m and a leg of the 4 x 400m).
In the under 15's, Kaylee Dodd continued her winning ways in the A string 100m, 200m and 1500m. Yet again several under 13's stepped up an age group to gain precious points (Isobel Ives, Olivia Bullis and Daisy Pointing).
